Sermon synopsis: The whole topic of giving has been thrown on its head by the doctrine of Prosperity which says that when you give God has to give back. It places an expectation on the giver and when the expectation is not met hurt follows.
This is a contentious topic. The Bible said it would be.
Matthew 6:21 'For where your treasure is there your heart will also be.'
