God initiates - We participate

Sermon synopsis: Gen 5:3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.
Even though Adam was created in God’s image, he now brings forth a son in his own image – with a sinful nature.
But God provided the gift of salvation.
We must remember though that “God initiates – we participate”, not the other way around.
God has freely given the gift of salvation, but we have to accept it.
