We are living in the last days. There is a tremendous departure from the Word of God. There is an emphasis today on revelation apart from the Bible and this is leading men into greater and deeper error.
Amos 8:11-12 “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign LORD, “when I will send a famine through the land— not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD. Men will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the LORD, but they will not find it.”
The ‘communist-turned-Christian’ Russian author Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn wrote, “…all of us are standing on the brink of a great historical cataclysm, a flood that swallows up civilisation and changes whole epochs… We have become hopelessly enmeshed in our slavish worship of all that is pleasant, all that is comfortable, all that is material -- we worship things, we worship products… You have lost all sense of danger. You cannot even see what is swiftly coming towards you. You have sold out to the comforts of materialism.'
Earth’s darkest hour is approaching and a world leader is coming who is going to supplant God and Christ - and together with this God’s judgment is going to fall on the earth.
The first president of the UN General Assembly, Paul-Henri Spaak said, “We do not want another committee, we have too many already. What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all the people and to lift us up out of the economic morass into which we are sinking. Send us such a man, and whether he be God or devil, we will receive him.”
