Sermon synopsis: Missionary pioneering in Congo forests : a narrative of the labours of William F.P. Burton and his companions in the native villages of Luba-Land (1922).
Burton (1886–1971) was a British Pentecostal missionary to the Belgian Congo. Along with James Salter, Smith Wigglesworth's son-in-law, he pioneered a mighty work in the Congo. Walking through jungles, wading through swamps, he crossed a wilderness to found a work that saw great signs and wonders, and many converts coming to the Lord.
