Revelation 5

Sermon synopsis: The setting changes from the island of Patmos (1-3) to the heavenly throne room (chs. 4-16) as John enters the doorway in the heavens. It begins a heavenly perspective, looking down on the earth.
Chapters 4 and 5 set the stage for the judgments on the earth that follow – seen from the vantage point of heaven.
They reveal the place (heaven) from which the judgments originate and the person (the Lamb) from whom they come.
