Sermon synopsis: Hebrews 3:16-18 “Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert? And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed ?”

(1) They heard God speaking, (2) they made God angry, (3) they received God’s judgement and (4) they missed God’s plan.

Based on the experience of Moses, we see that spiritual leaders are (1) appointed by God, (2) directed by God and (3) removed by God.
