Sermon synopsis: Numbers in the bible have meaning, numbers one to ten have their meanings and so does the number 12 (and others). But number eleven is skipped, Joseph is the eleventh son of Jacob, his number has no meaning and he is not recorded as a tribe of Israel.
The house of Joseph is however clearly mentioned in the Old Testament as in (Obadiah 1 v 12) and (Zechariah 10 v 6) – alongside the House of Jacob and Judah respectively
