Brakpan AGF is a vibrant cross-cultural, multi-racial church that tries it's best to cater to young and old alike. We endeavour to preach the undiluted truth of God's Word and to avoid the modern tendency of trying to be politically correct. We are at the same time very conscious of the grace of God which has reached each of us in our brokenness and given us hope and strength to live a life of victory in Him, through Him and for Him. It has been my privilege to pastor the Brakpan AGF for over 2 decades, during which time I've had the joy of seeing the Lord raise up leadership around me who share my vision and who have been instrumental in the positive changes that have taken place in the assembly in recent years. We have a sense of anticipation for what God has in store for us in the future.

• To take care of the poor & needy in our own congregation & as the Lord leads outside our own church.
• To support & encourage the persecuted church in prayer, financially and in person if God opens a door.

At the second coming of Christ (the second Advent) God will rise up to defend his people when the world turns against them. Zechariah 14:2-4 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped … Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west … CHRIST JUDGES THE NATIONS WHO HATE ISRAEL: Joel 3:1-2 “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land … God says to those nations who will oppose Israel in the end times: Zechariah 2:8 For thus said the LORD of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.
